Urban Word NYC Teen Poetry Slam honors all styles of poetry, spoken word, hip-hop and manifesto. To qualify, teens must be between the ages of 13-19. First preliminary slam is March 4th, 6PM-8PM at Dweck Center, Brooklyn Public Library.

The Summer “Intensive” Session is a great opportunity for students to dive into a month and half of art-making in an immersive setting that enables students to explore observational drawing in graphite, charcoal, and ink, as well as a variety of other media including painting, collage-making, and printmaking.
