The Summer “Intensive” Session is a great opportunity for students to dive into a month and half of art-making in an immersive setting that enables students to explore observational drawing in graphite, charcoal, and ink, as well as a variety of other media including painting, collage-making, and printmaking. Applications are due June 1st.
Open Art Space is a relaxed weekly drop-in program for LGBTQ high school students who are interested in thinking about, and making, art in a creative and welcoming environment.

Workshop focused on helping students understand their financial aid package. There will be an open discussion about the financial hardships for first-generation college students, the ramifications of student debt, scholarships and grants, resources on campus, and how to hack college financial aid. March 15th 4-6pm at Groundswell.
The arts are now recognized as "official uses" in official USDOE guidance on Every Student Succeeds Act Student Support and Enrichment Grants and contribute to a well-rounded education! We'll stay tuned to how this guidance is resolved in actual legislation and state-level plans for 2017, and hope you will too.
The Kinder Morgan Foundation's goal is to help today's science, math and music students become the engineers, educators and musicians who will support our diverse communities for many years to come.
