The Museum of the City of New York will be hosting its third annual LGBTQ Teen Summit on Thursday, June 27th 8:30AM-3:00PM. A free, full-day, affirming space that empowers LGBTQI+ youth by celebrating their history on the walls of the Museum.
The Summer “Intensive” Session is a great opportunity for students to dive into a month and half of art-making in an immersive setting that enables students to explore observational drawing in graphite, charcoal, and ink, as well as a variety of other media including painting, collage-making, and printmaking. Applications are due June 1st.
Open Art Space is a relaxed weekly drop-in program for LGBTQ high school students who are interested in thinking about, and making, art in a creative and welcoming environment.
High school students can connect to colleges, conservatories, and resources to help them explore the many opportunities available in creative industries. March 24, 2019 10AM-6PM at Lincoln Center Education.
