Four-Year Plan Goals

Goal One: To bring music technology and recording arts into the Foshay curriculum where students will learn and develop valuable 21st-century skills combining recording arts, performing arts, and computer technology.

Goal Two: To build a Theatre Arts program at Foshay that delivers high quality, sequential and
standards based instruction in the theatre arts

Approach

Goal One: The school will work with an outside arts partner who will provide professional development in music technology to the designated music teacher as well as provide curriculum to assist the teacher. The arts partner will "team-teach" in the beginning, gradually pulling back as the music teacher becomes more confident and competent in music technology pedagogy and programs.

Goal Two: The school hired a full time theatre teacher so that he can create a sequenced, standards-based theatre arts program offering new theatre courses to Foshay students.

ARTS PARTNERSHIPS

Goal One: Young Producers Group is assisting with teaching artists and Professional Development.

Goal Two: A Noise Within

Sustainability Plan

Goal One: A new arts course in Music Technology with a dedicated classroom and equipment will be offered as part of the music offerings at Foshay.

Goal Two: New theatre courses will be open and offered to all students.

Four-Year Plan will be completed in Spring of 2019.
