The Summer “Intensive” Session is a great opportunity for students to dive into a month and half of art-making in an immersive setting that enables students to explore observational drawing in graphite, charcoal, and ink, as well as a variety of other media including painting, collage-making, and printmaking. This is a paid internship opportunity for students who will be rising juniors or rising seniors during the summer of the internship and who either reside in or attend a high school or home school in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut. The program allows students to connect with arts, museum, and creative professionals as they develop professional skills, network, and gain work experience.

Brooklyn Children's Theatre Apprenticeship Program

The Brooklyn Children's Theatre Apprenticeship Program is open to students in grades 5-12.

Apprentices act as assistants to BCT teachers in our many BCT classes in Park Slope, Fort Greene, Greenpoint & Kensington.  This is an unpaid position, but provides young people with valuable experience with leadership and organizational skills.  (Students can also use this apprenticeship for community service credit if their school requires it.)
