FORM Academy at UCLA is a multidisciplinary summer arts program for high school students (entering 10th - 12th graders) from under-resourced schools in Los Angeles County. We are looking for participants who are imaginative, energetic and curious; interested in exploring the arts and creativity in an interdisciplinary format; and who want to experience what life could be like on a university campus.
Working with graduate mentors and UCLA faculty, FORM students explore a range of artistic disciplines such as painting, architecture, dance/movement, media arts and more - as well as participate in museum and campus tours, career discussions and an overnight stay in the dorms.
In addition to free tuition, all art supplies, instructional materials, lunches and snacks are provided throughout the program -
but transportation to campus is not. Each selected student must be able to provide their own transportation to and from campus
for the duration of the program.
Applications will be accepted May 7 through May 21, 2018
via website, email or mail.
