Studio 57

Studio 57 brings together teens ages 14–19 from across New York City in an open space for musical collaboration, growth, and exploration. It’s all free—snacks and MetroCards provided.

At Studio 57, teens have the power to choose their own adventure:

  • Learn from professional artists and youth mentors in workshop and master class settings
  • Collaborate with peers from around the city
  • Explore a broad range of music—vocal and instrumental, digital and acoustic—from all genres and styles
  • Listen to others and/or perform in monthly concerts

Every Saturday, Studio 57 hosts master classes where you can receive feedback in front of a group of peer musicians. Feel free to drop in on any Saturday throughout the school year, excluding holidays. Come for just an hour or for the entire session. Register no later than the Friday morning before any Saturday session. A signed permission form from a parent/guardian is required for those under 18.

Studio 57 Live

In addition to weekly master classes, Studio 57 also hosts Studio 57 Live, an open performance space where members have the chance to perform their music in front of peers and faculty once a month.
