Who is eligible?
Teen Leadership Council is open to 9th through 12th grade students who attend school in New York City.
Apply if you would like to:
- Create dynamic public programs for teens
- Engage with incredible artists, creative thinkers and makers
- Learn about the Studio Museum and meet with Museum staff
- Collaborate with teens that have similar interest as you!
When does the Teen Leadership Council meet?
Program Dates: January–July 2018
Meetings: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 4–6:30 pm (2x/month)
Orientation and Training Dates: Wednesday, January 10, 4–6:30 pm and Wednesday, January 24, 4–6:30 pm
Teen Leadership Council–organized events (dates to be determined)
Attendance is mandatory for orientation and all meeting dates from January–July 2018. The meeting dates are very important to the success of this program.
All applicants must submit the application form here and either upload or email one letter of recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, coach, employer or supervisor to firstname.lastname@example.org.
